There could be a major move for a world-class striker in this summer’s transfer market. Liverpool, who are rumoured to be looking for a new centre-forward, with the likes of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota rumoured to be on their way out.
Arsenal, who are battling for top spot in the Premier League, are also looking to sign a scorer and have reported interest in European strikers. Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Sesko could all make the step up this summer.
Fabrizio Romano (Italian journalist) admitted that the Gunners are interested in them. He also revealed that the Sporting forward and RB Leipzig forward are likely to leave at the end of the season, but said it is a fine line whether the Newcastle United forward will leave the team.
“He (Sesko) remains an option, for sure, in the list. He was one of the names also in the January transfer window.”
“Arsenal were thinking to make an approach with Red Bull Leipzig, but then they understood with just a few calls that it was impossible in January to make something happen with Leipzig for Sesko,”
“But in the summer could be completely different. My expectation is for Benjamin Sesko to go in the summer transfer window. So I see, for example, Gyokeres leaving, Sesko leaving.”
“For Isak, it remains a 50/50 situation. So it’s a completely different case. But for Sesko, everything is clear.”
