Liverpool midfielder Fabio Carvalho failed to shine during his Fulham days at Anfield. He did not even get a start in the second half of the season and spent more and more time off the bench, and a loan move next season was hinted at.
RB Leipzig initially wanted to acquire the 20-year-old midfielder on a permanent transfer, but Liverpool have not given up on the player’s potential and rejected a permanent transfer or buy option.
Discussions were held for a loan transfer, and now the terms were agreed and the transfer was finalized until June 2024, reported Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist. The transfer will be officially concluded next week.
