Liverpool is looking to update its midfielders and get a new center back. Currently, Liverpool is focusing all its efforts on strengthening its midfield and has not made any progress in reinforcing its final line. Nevertheless, there have been several chances to acquire a new player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, former France U-21 defender Evan Endika, whose contract with Eintracht Frankfurt is expiring and who has been rumored to be on the move since the beginning of the season, was also discussed with Liverpool, but the offer was rejected.

“In the second part of this market, I think they will look at the centre-backs market, a left-footed centre-back,”

“Evan Ndicka was offered to Liverpool but they decided against it and he’s now joining Roma.”

“So there were some possibilities, and I think Liverpool will explore the centre-back market.”
