James Balagizi, a 19-year-old midfielder, has a strong physicality in addition to his 1.89m physique. At one time he was compared to former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure and was considered a promising prospect, but his development has slowed down.
Last season he joined Crawley on loan. He suffered an injury at the base of his leg and played only 14 games, which was not a great success.
He returned to Liverpool for the second half of the season, but did not get many appearances in Premier League 2.
The attacking midfielder, who has great potential, has decided to stay on loan this season in order to further develop his skills and is expected to have a big season like last season’s Northern Ireland defender Conor Bradley after a one-year loan at EFL League One side Wigan Athletic.
Will James Balagizi be able to shine at Anfield in the future…?
