Crystal Palace is in the market for Curtis Jones...midfield moves continue in the Premier League? Transfers

England midfielder Declan Rice moves from West Ham to Arsenal. Alexis Mac Alliste joined Liverpool from Brighton, and from relegated Leicester City, Yuri Tielemans went to Aston Villa and James Maddison to Tottenham.

Elsewhere, Manchester United signed Mason Mount from Chelsea. Manchester City added Mateo Kovacic to their team, also from Chelsea. Conversely, Chelsea pays a release clause to sign U.S. midfielder Tyler Adams from Leeds.

Along with a lot of money, there have been rumors of a move for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones amidst a major move in the midfielders’ ranks within the Premier League. According to Caughtoffside, Crystal Palace have expressed interest in the England U-21 midfielder and manager Roy Hodgson is keen to bring him in.

Liverpool has successfully revamped its midfield, but with experienced players such as James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaving and Jordan Henderson and Fabinho moving on, the club is not flush in terms of midfield numbers.

Considering the possibility of injury, they are not going to let go of the 22-year-old midfielder, who performed well in the second half of last season, even though it is expected that they may have to fight a last-minute battle.

No matter how much money is offered for the transfer, releasing him at this point in time is an unthinkable story and a pipe dream.

With the addition of strong rivals this season, the Liverpool-born midfielder will have a year to play, but will he be able to show his performance like last season and secure a place in the starting lineup…?
