Young Liverpool defender Luke Chambers spent the second half of last season at Kilmarnock, where he developed his reputation. Bayer Leverkusen, led by Xabi Alonso, has shown interest throughout the transfer market, but no loan move has been completed as of yet.
According to This Is Anfield, Swansea City are also considering a loan move for the 19-year-old left back, and could be in a battle with the German club.
He has made two appearances in Premier League 2 this season, playing 90 minutes. With the likes of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas in the first team, it is natural for him to look for opportunities to develop at other clubs, as it is difficult for him to get a chance to play in cup competitions.
