Agent discusses Piotr Zielinski and Daichi Kamada about possible Liverpool transfer Transfers

After reinforcing their forward lineup with Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Cody Gakpo, Liverpool set out to revamp their midfield, which was also a factor in their poor performance last season.

This summer alone, the club acquired four players and replaced its midfield with the unexpected departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.

Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who is under contract with Napoli until June 2024, and Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamata, who joined Lazio this summer, could have played at Anfield.

Gianluca Di Carlo, who is involved in the transfer to the players as their agent, revealed the other side of the story.

“Given that the Zielinski deal seems easier to do for free, in June, than in January by paying him for the Italian clubs.

“However, we are talking about a player who could have gone to Liverpool two years ago. He has matured perfectly because of the right path he did: from Poland, to Udinese, with the move to Empoli, then Napoli where he arrived after becoming important in Friuli.”

“He is a classy player about whom there is not much to say: that he plays at Napoli, Juventus, Inter or Milan, he is strong.”

“The player (Daichi Kamada) was on a free transfer and many clubs had gone for him: Milan, Liverpool, Benfica, Real Sociedad.”

“The Rossoneri changed management and I understand that there were no longer any references for the agreements that had been made.”

“Lazio sniffed out the deal and the entourage immediately liked the idea. Not without the interference of many clubs. After all, we’re talking about a player who would normally be worth 27-28 million euros.”

As a result, neither player joined Liverpool and played in Serie A. The Polish midfielder has a smoldering possibility of leaving the club this winter or next summer, and the 29-year-old may be stepping into a new challenge.

On the other hand, the Japanese midfielder was a starter in the early part of the season, but has gradually dropped down the pecking order and has been starting in the middle of the lineup in recent games. However, he has only just joined the club, and a transfer is not expected to happen anytime soon.
