The forwards have been rejuvenated with the addition of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Cody Gakpo. The average age of the midfielders has also dropped this summer with the addition of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Ryan Gravenberch.
Pressing intensity in midfield has also been revived, and with a generational shift from the strongest front three, Liverpool is involved in the championship contention this season.
