Tom Cairney, a 33-year-old midfielder, joined Fulham from Blackburn in 2015. He has been the mainstay of the team this season and has played 23 games so far.
He has been entrusted with the captain’s mark in many games and has become a leader of the team not only in terms of his play but also mentally.
The former Scotland midfielder, who has barely played more than 100 games in the Premier League this season and more than 300 in the Championship, has faced a variety of players in his career.

“I think one of the most underrated players in the Premier League they’ve just lost and that’s Jota. I think he’s fantastic – the most underrated player.”
“When you play against him, he’s capable of anything.”
“He has that Suarez thing about him where he can bounce it off your shin five times and go in one on one.”
