Liverpool had a number of young players in action in the fiercely contested Carabao Cup final. Although they did not play in the final, there were teenagers sitting on the bench as well.
The game was a hopeful one for the future, and Liverpool has enough talent, including players in their early 20s and midfielders, to remain at the top level even after the retirement of Jurgen Klopp.
Still, Liverpool is willing to invest in the future. While the club has turned its attention to promising prospects in England, including Oliver Arblaster, Chris Rigg, and Archie Gray, it is also eyeing 18-year-old Palmeiras midfielder Luis Guilherme from the Brazilian side.
And it seems that Liverpool has made a move to acquire the player. The club has sent an agent to Brazil to discuss the transfer with his family, Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicolas reported.
“Liverpool have sent a representative over to speak to the family of Palmeiras player Luís Guilherme.”
“The Reds are expected to make an offer in the coming days to get the deal done ahead of the summer transfer window.”

The attacking midfielder, born in 2006, has a contract with his club until June 2026. After establishing himself in the first team last season, he made 19 appearances in the top flight.
He has also played on the pitch in the Libertadores, albeit briefly, and has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s best, thanks to his success with Brazil’s national U-20 and U-17 teams.
We do not know if the reports are true, but will Liverpool be able to bring the young Brazilian talent to Anfield?
