Reports surrounding Sporting’s Ruben Amorim are heating up, while discussions have been held with West Ham leaders, casting a pall over his departure.
Liverpool have several other candidates on their list, and with the end of the season looming, there is no sign of any rush. And they are also interested in Brentford’s Thomas Frank, who has Premier League experience.
According to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are expected to intensify their move for the Danish manager if they miss out on Amorim. The report also states that there are a number of people within the club who hold the manager in high regard.
With a unique perspective on scouting and a small budget in the Premier League, Brentford have been able to strengthen their squad.The 50-year-old manager has been assistant coach since 2016 and has been in charge of the first team since 2018.
Although he is happy at his current club and is under contract until 2027, it would be difficult to ignore an offer from Liverpool if it were to arrive. At the moment, there is absolutely no movement at all, but things could start to move rapidly once the departure of the Portuguese captain is decided.
