Jurgen Klopp has been in charge at Anfield since October 2015 and has transformed the club into a team that has been able to compete with the well-funded Manchester City for a number of supreme championship titles, including the Premier League and Champions League.
The German is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season due to a lack of energy, and is also expected to be out of coaching for at least a year. However, many clubs and teams, including the German national team, have recognised his exceptional ability.
The Independent’s Miguel Delany reports that his old club Borussia Dortmund are also considering Klopp’s return, and it is increasingly likely that he will be appointed to lead them from the 2025/26 season.

Having started his first team coaching career at Mainz, he revived Dortmund, which was struggling financially.
He has transformed the club into one of the two biggest clubs in Germany with Bayern Munich by actively using young players and developing cheap acquisitions into star players.
The club has recently become more financially solvent, sometimes paying a lot of money for transfers, but still has a strong reputation for developing young players. Led by Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho, Ousmane Dembele and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have also made great strides.
