Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the transfer market last summer. In the first half of the season, he brought joy to Anfield with performances reminiscent of Steven Gerrard.
His performances did not improve much in the second half of the season, when he gradually started to tire, partly due to his first Premier League season.
Next season, the 23-year-old midfielder will be expected to perform well throughout the season, but his thoughts were with manager Jurgen Klopp, who is leaving the team at the end of the season.
