Born in Germany, 19-year-old midfielder Kenan Yıldız joined Juventus in 2022 after a spell with Bayern Munich’s youth team.
He made his first-team debut in 2023 and played 27 Serie A games this season. He was often introduced midway through the season, but gained valuable experience.
At 19, he has also made seven appearances for the Turkish national team and his future looks promising. Interest from Liverpool has been reported for some time, but La Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that the club are increasingly likely to make a serious move for him as they look to strengthen their front line.
Meanwhile, Juventus want to extend their contract with the former Bayern frontman, who is under contract until June 2027, and want to keep a check on clubs trying to acquire him, according to the report.
The attacker, who is dexterous with both feet, has scored four goals and assisted one in 32 first-team games for his club. He is expected to make more appearances in the starting line-up and is expected to develop further at the Allianz Stadium, and is unlikely to change teams right now.
At the moment, he is likely to remain in Serie A, but will he defy expectations and move to a new club in the future…?
