Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig interested in loaning Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark Transfers

Bobby Clark, a 19-year-old midfielder from Newcastle, had a productive season last season, getting a lot of playing time due to a string of injuries to first team players. He successfully gained a lot of experience in the Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League and Carabao Cup.

The young midfielder is developing well, but there is no guarantee that he will get enough playing time next season at Liverpool, where there are a number of excellent midfielders. The player’s age and need to play on the pitch has raised the possibility of a loan move.

According to Daveockop, two clubs from the Red Bull Group – Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig – have expressed interest in the young Liverpool midfielder, with the aim of securing him on a one-year loan move.

Red Bull Salzburg have a new manager in Pepijn Lijnders, who was assistant coach under Jurgen Klopp. He knows the player’s abilities and character and may be able to help him settle into the team.

RB Leipzig are at a slightly higher level and compete in the Bundesliga, making it more difficult to secure a regular place in the team. If they fit in admirably, as in the case of Xabi Simons and others, they can be expected to develop rapidly.

Several other English clubs, including Derby County, are also interested, and a loan move would be ideal, given his future development.

Finding a club that will treat him as a starter will be a challenge in the future, but where will the 19-year-old midfielder be playing next season…?
