Wales defender Owen Beck has a promising future as a left-back. Unable to join Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas and Joe Gomez in the battle for places, he was loaned out to Scottish Premiership side Dundee last season.
He made 25 appearances for Scotland and played regularly. He has grown in confidence and is currently taking part in Liverpool’s pre-season, but there is no sign of him getting more first-team action this season and a second loan is imminent.
According to international media outlet Football Scotland, the 21-year-old left-back has received interest from several Championship clubs, as well as Germany and the Netherlands, which seems to have closed the door on a return to Dundee, where he has left a good image.
The young defender has provided 11 assists in 54 games for the Liverpool U-21 team, but has only made three first-team appearances. A loan move would be ideal for him, rather than staying at Anfield and missing out on opportunities.
Will the young Welsh defender move to another club this summer?
