Valencia rejected Liverpool's unofficial first offer for Giorgi Mamardashvili Transfers

Liverpool, who have sold a string of promising but young players such as Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg who wanted regular treatment, are the only club in the Premier League who have yet to succeed in acquiring anyone in terms of players.

Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia is the closest they have come to signing a player, but despite negotiations over the past few weeks, no agreement has been reached between the clubs as of yet.

Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the transfer market, updated the progress on the negotiations, saying that the broad terms have been agreed and that another round of talks will be held to work out the details, where it could all come together.

“Liverpool are pushing to seal Giorgi Mamardashvili deal with new contacts with Valencia already scheduled.”

“One more meeting will take place as agreement is done on €35m fee plus sell-on clause, still negotiating on deal structure.”

“Giorgi would stay at Valencia on loan.”
