Liverpool are considering selling Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker next summer with interest from Saudi Arabia Transfers

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker is in his seventh season at Anfield. He remains the Premier League’s premier goalkeeper, despite Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher’s continued development.

Saudi Arabia were keen on the 31-year-old goalkeeper, who has also defended the goalmouth in 70 games for Brazil, in the transfer market this summer. Despite being aware of the interest, he stressed that he was happy at Liverpool and said nakedly that he wanted to fulfil his contract here.

Next year, however, Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who is on loan at Valencia this season, will join the club in earnest. The team’s situation may change, although it is expected that there will be fierce regular competition.

According to Fichajes, Liverpool are considering selling the Brazilian defender, who is under contract until 2027, and could make a move next summer.

This is only a suggestion of a possibility and the fact that this is the case has not been confirmed. Another option would be to let both players compete for a year to get used to the Premier League, and release them at a time when they have adapted to English football and Slott’s football.

The problem that arises there, however, is the loss of a second goalkeeper. Kelleher has already made his desire for a move known to the media and is not waiting to leave next summer.

There are not many good goalkeepers who are willing to sit on the bench, a perpetual problem for big clubs.

Will Liverpool step on the accelerator next summer to sell their long-serving 31-year-old goalkeeper…?
