Ben Doak, an 18-year-old forward, has been a promising youngster in Jurgen Klopp’s regime, accompanying the first team and making appearances in cup competitions and other competitions.
The youngster, who recently made his debut for Scotland, has a promising career ahead of him and is training with Championship side Middlesbrough this season. The former Celtic forward, who joined on a year’s loan, has only just joined the club and is yet to start.
He is expected to get his chance to play, but the manager of the team, Michael Carrick, revealed that he is making an impact in training, but also said that he will need to use him carefully.
“He’s been in since Tuesday and he’s really impressed and settled in quickly and already had an impact on the group. He’s obviously desperate to get going, playing and be part of the team,”
“When it’s new – it’s a new environment – it’s a case of helping him settle and getting him used to how we play and do things.”
“That’s what we expect and we hope that he can be the player we know he can be but we have to be a little patient with him and bed him in at the right time.”

He is still only 18 years old and has the potential to make a big leap forward. It’s a time when he should be getting weekly starts in the Championship, and this is an opportunity to get them.
Can the winger, who also has high expectations from the Scotland national team, make the most of this opportunity and be in contention for a place in Liverpool’s first team next season…?
