Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig last summer. In Jurgen Klopp’s final season at Anfield, he made his presence felt from his first season.Although he had a few more lacklustre games towards the end of the season due to fatigue, he generally received high praise.
In the team with new coach Arne Slot, he was also a regular. He has been asked to play in a different role, closer to the top than at inside half, but he continues to play both offensively and defensively with his extraordinary attacking flair and abundant athleticism.
The Hungarian captain confessed that the appointment of a more possession-oriented Dutch coach has changed his style of play, compared to the German coach, who played intense and characteristic football with gegenpresses and short counters.

He has developed into one of the best young players in the Red Bull Group with RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig, and even at Anfield, where he has been compared to club legend and former England midfielder Steven Gerrard when in good form.
The attacking midfielder, who is still only 23 years old and has great potential for the future, talked about his goals ‘so far’ and ‘in the future’ and said that he wants to win both the Premier League and Champions League.
