Alisson Becker, Brazil’s goalkeeper under Jurgen Klopp, has given instructions from the back of the team and saved the day many times with well-timed leaps and outstanding one-on-one saves. He has also produced a goal for Mohamed Salah and is a natural at switching from defence to attack.
The midfield has changed this season with the appointment of Arne Slot as head bcoach. The Dutchman is a possession-oriented coach, but he also makes use of the fast, vertical football established by his predecessor and is currently top of the Premier League and Champions League.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is a great admirer of Slot’s communication methods. He seems to try to explain things in a way that is easy for any player to understand, and he paid tribute along with the German coach who led the club until last season.
“I like the way [Slot] deals with players. He’s a direct guy, he’s convinced of his ideas, very clear in his communication.”
“He is able to convey his ideas and importantly, tell them in a way that every player will understand. They have common ideas and are both quality coaches.”
“I think that, more than making comparisons, I think it’s important to praise what Slot has done from my point of view: he’s improved the way we play as a team.”
“As you said, he took a model already established by Klopp, kept the things he thought were good, but brought up his personality in some other ways.”

The season is still in its early stages. The number of injuries is increasing and we are approaching a time when fatigue is building up due to the busy schedule.
It is the first year in the Premier League and the players’ understanding of their manager is growing, although they are still trying to figure out how to compete in one of the best leagues in the world.
Can the team come together to create a future at the top of England’s game . Alisson’s contribution will be vital to that.
