Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian international who looked a little heavy last season, has regained his sharpness this season under new manager Arne Slot.
While he uses his prized upper-body strength, his dribbling has become sharper and his goals and assists are as accurate as ever.
Egyptian King remains the team’s ace attacker, but his departure is being closely watched as he enters the final year of his Liverpool contract.
Colombian international Luis Diaz joined Anfield in the winter of 2022 and showed a high level of combination with Salah immediately after joining the club.
The 27-year-old winger, who is also scoring more goals in front of goal this season, said it was a privilege to play with his fellow right winger.
“It’s crazy, his numbers are incredible. He is an extraordinary player. A player who motivates you to play well. It’s good that you learn a lot from him because he plays alongside you and it’s a privilege, so I’m also very happy for him because of what he’s achieving.”
