Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala is one of the young attackers leading the German national team’s attack. Along with Bayer Leverkusen’s 21-year-old midfielder Florian Wirtz, he continues to be linked with a step up next summer.
His contract with the German club runs until June 2026, and if he stays, he will have less than a year left on his contract next summer, with some of Europe’s best clubs keen to get in on the action. And according to Rousing The Kop, Liverpool appear to be one of those clubs.
It also reports that they are yet to agree an extension to his current contract, which runs until 2026, and that he could be on the market soon. The Merseyside club see the player as a generational talent and would be keen to miss out on the chance to bring him to Anfield.
However, it won’t be easy to land the former Chelsea attacking midfielder. Bayern will no doubt set a strong price, even if he has one year left, and it is unlikely that Liverpool will offer an exorbitant amount.
At the moment, a career move to Anfield doesn’t seem likely, but can Liverpool manage to find a way through…?
