Liverpool’s native midfielder Tyler Morton has struggled for first-team action. With Curtis Jones, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister ahead of him in the pecking order, he has only been able to play in cup games.

He has only played three Carabao Cup games this season. He performed well in the quarter-final against Southampton, but has not been able to compete regularly. The same situation is expected to continue in the second half of the season, with Japan midfielder Wataru Endo also waiting in the wings.

Hull City, who were on loan last season, are keen on the treatment. According to Hull Live, the club are open to a second loan if Liverpool are willing to let him leave the team.

The club, which has been in the bottom half of the Championship, changed manager in December, bringing in Rubén Sellés, who has led Southampton and Reading, and is looking to bolster its squad ahead of next January’s transfer window, eyeing the young Liverpool midfielder as one of its targets.

The England U-21 midfielder made 41 appearances for Hull City last season and is sure to make a good impression. They finished seventh in the table and will clearly be boosted by the acquisition of the 22-year-old defensive midfielder, who has played at the bottom of midfield.

With promising youngsters such as Trey Naioni also in friendly competition at the academy, will Liverpool allow Morton to leave in the next transfer window…?
