Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, whose contract with Liverpool is about to expire, has not signed a new contract at the moment. He has frequently stated to the media that he wishes to remain at Anfield, putting pressure on the club.
Egyptian King continues to be one of the best performers this season and throughout his career. The Saudis are also keen to sign him, and if he does not extend his contract with Liverpool, a battle with Paris Saint-Germain, who are also interested, is expected.
According to French journalist Romain Collet Gaudin, PSG are prepared to pay €500,000 a week on a three-year contract and are planning to bring the Egyptian right winger into the team, posting a salary figure above Liverpool’s offer.
“PSG are keen to sign the Egyptian this summer and are offering him €500,000 per week over 3 seasons.”
“Liverpool, on the other hand, are offering him a slightly reduced extension over 2 seasons at €400,000 a week.”
