Dutch midfielder Jeremie Frimpong has been named as the successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold or Mohamed Salah.
He had an impressive 14 goals and 10 assists in 47 games last season and has three goals and 10 assists so far this season.
Despite his small stature, he is physically strong on his axis and continues to create chances from the right flank.
He has developed into one of the Bundesliga’s leading players, with the ability to defend against opponents and connect with the ball while carrying the opposition’s defence.
According to TEAMtalk, the 24-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, but he has a gentleman’s agreement with his club Bayer Leverkusen and is willing to accept offers for more than €40 million.
The Dutch midfielder, who has also played for Celtic, is open to a move to the Premier League and has been keen on a chance in England for the last two years, but so far the opportunity has not presented itself.
However, his hopes could be fulfilled this summer. Will Liverpool or Manchester City be serious about acquiring him…?
