There could be a major reshuffle up front this summer, with the possible departures of Liverpool forwards Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa.
With a number of players rumoured to replace them, 19-year-old forward Malick Fofana of Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon is reportedly one of the players Liverpool are interested in.
The young Belgian talent has experience of playing in big tournaments such as the Europa League and the European Conference League, where his potential has been recognised. He has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 35 games this season.
The player’s agent, Bobo Fofana, made a remarkable statement about the promising player’s future, revealing that Liverpool is his main ambition in his mind. However, he mentioned Newcastle United as a realistic option, saying they could make a solid step forward.
“The choice of the heart would be Liverpool,”
“He has the potential to become a regular, and above all, we’d like to see him succeed African legends such as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Elhadj Diouf.
“Now, the choice of reason would be Newcastle, a well-structured club that could be a first step to gain experience before, perhaps, joining a top five European club.”
“He has the profile to succeed in the Premier League. He possesses qualities similar to those of Manchester United’s Amad Diallo: speed, impact, and the ability to create chances. There’s no doubt he can shine.”

As an agent, it is only natural that you rate the players you deal with highly and represent them better than the market.
Although he has started many games this season, he has often been introduced midway through the season and has yet to become an absolute regular.
Will the attacker, who may be the next generation of the Belgian national team, challenge for the Premier League next season…?
