"Dominik Szoboszlai is a big target for Liverpool" Italian journalist discusses possible transfers Transfers

Liverpool, looking to strengthen its midfield squad, is moving vigorously in the transfer market this summer, with plans to acquire at least three midfielders.

Even with the addition of Alexis Mac Allister, various players have still been linked to the club, and recently the name of Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has surfaced.

Although a release clause of €70m has been set, it expires today. According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers, he is an important target for Liverpool, and the team is considering whether to submit an offer.

He also said that Newcastle is also interested, but that Liverpool is seen as a better bet in terms of budget, as they have secured players such as Italian midfielder Sandro Tonari from AC Milan.

In total, he scored 20 goals and 22 assists in 91 games for RB Leipzig, playing not only as an attacking midfielder but also on the left and right wing. He can cover an area similar to that of England midfielder Mason Mount, who moved to Manchester United, and is certainly the right man to revitalize Liverpool’s sometimes stagnant attacking lineup.

The question, however, is whether Liverpool has enough budget left over. In addition to Szoboszlai, the club is also in the market for another midfielder and a left-handed center back, and spending €70m at this point could be a major blow.

Could Liverpool really make a move today to acquire Hungary’s “greatest treasure”…?
