Dominik Szoboszlai's deal done...Liverpool triggered a €70m release clause Transfers

Following Alexis Mac Allister, the second signing of this summer is now confirmed. Instead of Khéphren Thuram and Manu Koné, the Hungarian, 22-year-old midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, who has recently been the subject of heated transfer speculation, has finally joined Liverpool.

The player had hoped to be under the coaching of Jurgen Klopp and was open to playing at Anfield, but the point of contention was whether to trigger the release clause, which expires on June 30.

€70m was set as the transfer fee, but Liverpool was willing to pay that amount and have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Formal documents will be signed soon, and personal agreements with the players have already been completed. He will soon undergo a medical check, and if he passes it successfully, he will officially join Liverpool.

For Liverpool, which aims to strengthen its midfielders, an attacking midfielder who can also score double-digit goals would be a great addition.

A technician who can play on either wing and has a different style of play from the Argentinian midfielder, he will be a player who can solve a long-standing problem that Liverpool often struggles to solve against drawn opponents.

The new addition is expected to remove himself from the battle for Celta midfielder Gabri Veiga, who is also the type of midfielder who can score as well.

On the other hand, they will continue to target athletic and physical defensive midfielders like Thuram.

After landing the highly touted Mac Alistair and Szoboszlai, will Liverpool be able to make further acquisitions before the preseason?
