Senegalese international Sadio Mane left Liverpool in the summer of 2022 to join Bayern Munich. Although he started and scored several goals in the early part of the season, injuries and a change in manager kept him out of the regular lineup toward the second half of the season.
His position at the champions of Germany was in jeopardy, as he clashed with German international Leroy Sane and became a nuisance at the club. He was out of Thomas Tuchel’s plans and became a candidate for release, with interest reported from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia.
The former Liverpool forward has been hoping to stay at Bayern, but after talks with the club, he is finally considering taking the next step. According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, negotiations are set to begin for a move to Al Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo is also a member.
“Sadio Mané has accepted to negotiate terms of his move to Saudi league — Al Nassr, working to get it done”
“Mané wanted to stay but Bayern are pushing to find a solution & part ways.”
“Sadio now seriously considering Saudi, he will negotiate contract terms with Al Nassr.”

Former Brazilian international Roberto Firmino, a former colleague, has decided to leave Anfield for the Saudi Professional League.
Fabinho and Jordan Henderson is going to follow in his footsteps, and many players who have made a name for themselves in Europe are now looking for a new home in the Middle East.
Will Sadio Mane follow in the footsteps of other stars and become teammates with Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, and Seko Fofana?
