He has reached his limit...! Former Liverpool captain urges to get a defensive midfielder to replace "ailing" Fabinho! Transfers

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho, along with Jordan Henderson, has been fast-tracked to a move to Saudi Arabia. Al Ittihad, that is looking to sign him, is believed to have presented a formal offer of £40m and is preparing for the move in Liverpool without attending a training camp in Germany.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist, the president of Al Ittihad will arrive in London to hold talks with Liverpool to finalize the detailed parts of the contract, aiming to settle the matter within the next week to avoid hijacking.

“Al Ittihad president is in London to seal Fabinho deal with Liverpool. Talks are at final stages but still some details to sort between clubs.”

“Documents not ready yet — #LFC want to check it asap.”

“Saudi club hope for deal done next week to avoid any last minute hijack.”

In the summer of 2018, he chose to move to Liverpool amidst talk of a move to Manchester United. Since then, he has taken on the role of recovering the ball at the bottom of midfield, sometimes scoring goals with his powerful midfield shots and creating decisive chances with his chip passes.

He fell into a slump in the first half of last season, but he made a comeback in the second half. He was expected to be a regular defensive midfielder in the new season, showing his natural sharpness of reading and ability to win the ball with his long limbs, but at the age of 29, he decided to move to the Middle East.

In addition to his old friend Roberto Firmino, a number of European stars have also moved to Saudi Arabia and will soon be joined by the current Brazilian national team.

Will Fabinho be able to continue his European brilliance in the Middle East?
