Roberto Firmino, a former Brazilian international, bid farewell to Liverpool at the end of last season. While Inter Milan and other European clubs were interested in him, he sought a new home in Saudi Arabia, where he has repeatedly reinforced his game in a big way, and signed a contract with Al Ahli.

The club has signed not only Firmino but also Riyad Mahrez, Alain Saint-Maximin, Edouard Mendy, Franck Kessié. Their debuts were impressive, as these players still have the ability to play in the Premier League and Serie A.

The former Liverpool forward showed his decisiveness in front of goal, scoring the first goal in the 6th minute, and then scoring the second early on in the 10th minute, connecting from Saint-Maximin to Mahrez, who reacted to the Algerian forward’s grand pass.

A mistake by former Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy allowed a goal to score, but Firmino got his name on the scoresheet again in the 71st minute.

His initial header was blocked, but he was quick to react to the spill and completed his hat trick on his debut, proving that he is still capable in his new home.
