Former Liverpool forward Divock Origi plans to return to the Premier League Transfers

With one of the best forward lineups in history, including Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino, Liverpool destroyed their opponents with a massive amount of goals. The club enjoyed a golden era, winning numerous titles, including the Premier League and Champions League.

At the same time as the front three, former Belgian international Divock Origi was a backup member of the team. He scored many valuable goals from midway through the season and scored against Tottenham Hotspur in the game that won the Champions League.

He also scored two goals in the semi-final against Barcelona that season and was a beloved super-sub at Anfield, but his contract expired after the 2021/22 season.

He was a free transfer to AC Milan, where he was unable to overcome the huge obstacles of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and ended the season with only two goals in 36 appearances.

He is not indispensable for AC Milan with the arrival of Swiss international Noah Okafor and others. According to the MilanNews, the 28-year-old striker is eager to return to his familiar Premier League club and could make a U-turn to England after only one season.

Although he was never a regular in the Premier League, scoring 22 goals and assisting 10 in 107 games, he had a “relatively” productive time, partly due to Liverpool’s success.

Will the Belgian international leave Serie A and return to England?
