Liverpool may be interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi Transfers

Liverpool, which has signed three midfielders in Alexis Mack Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo, is looking to further strengthen its midfield. Several midfielders from the Premier League and Europe have been mentioned as candidates.

Time is running out for consideration, and the transfer market deadline is fast approaching. Liverpool, who are considering a composite of possible acquisitions and asking prices, could target Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who was relegated from the Premier League last season, according to Miguel Delany of The Independent.

“Liverpool are investigating whether they can do one more midfield deal. There is still interest in Cheick Doucoure of Crystal Palace but they have so far been put off by price. Wilfried Ndidi may be considered as relegated Leicester City are willing to do business in the last few days of the window.”

The 26-year-old Nigerian midfielder has played a total of 192 Premier League games, scoring seven goals and providing 10 assists. He has also played in the Champions League and Europa League, and at one time was one of the best defensive midfielders in England.

However, similar to Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who left Liverpool at the end of last season, he was injured frequently. He often spends a third of the season off the bench, making it difficult to make calculations throughout the year.

In terms of transfer fees alone, they are a relegated club and could be bought out. Still, Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucouré and Bayern midfielder Ryan Gravenberch should be prioritized, and it would seem that it would be best to view this as just a slippery slope.

Who will Liverpool welcome to Anfield as their new midfielder?
