Normal scouting activity... Interest from Liverpool, but no approach for West Ham FW Jarrod Bowen Transfers

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah receives strong interest from Saudi Arabia. Liverpool was approached during this summer’s transfer window, but the club had no intention of selling and immediately rejected the offer. However, the Middle Eastern club is expected to try again this winter or next summer.

The challenge Liverpool must overcome is to find a replacement for Egyptian King and bring him into the team. A replacement for the striker who has been a regular Premier League goalscorer every season is not a given, but scouting is being done behind the scenes.

West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen has long been known as a winger of interest to Liverpool, and not just this time around. The fast-footed forward has been a key player on the counter at the London-based club along with Michael Antonio, but no moves have been made as of yet, according to Fabrizio Romano.

“Liverpool have been linked with Jarrod Bowen, but at the moment it’s very quiet, really,”

“There’s nothing concrete yet, just normal scouting activity but it’s something that top clubs always do, not only Liverpool. There’s nothing concrete yet with Bowen at this stage or any other player.”

CaughtOffside

The winger, who can also contribute defensively with his abundant athleticism, has scored 43 goals and 32 assists in 163 games since joining the club in the winter of 2020.

Although his scoring numbers are not as good as those of the Egyptian international, he can be expected to score more at Anfield, taking into account that West Ham does not dominate the ball from start to finish.

Although he will be 27 years old this December and is not a young player, it would not be surprising if Liverpool decides to acquire him as an immediate asset to get through the next few seasons.

How will Liverpool solve the difficult problem of finding a successor to Mohamed Salah?
