Liverpool made a serious effort to revamp its midfielders during this summer’s transfer market, successfully adding Alexis Mc Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch.
The average age of the midfield has also been rejuvenated with the departure of players around 30 years old, including James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Naby Keita, and Fabinho. Meanwhile, newcomers Japan captain and Thiago Alcantara bring experience.
Curtis Jones has been a regular since last season, and Harvey Elliott is also dynamic. With Stefan Bajcetic also performing at a high level of expectation, Liverpool is planning to further strengthen its midfield.
According to Fichajes, 22-year-old midfielder Thiago Almada of Major League Soccer’s Atlanta is on Liverpool’s list of reinforcements. He moved to the United States in 2022 and has exceeded expectations as an attacking midfielder this season with 11 goals and 14 assists in 29 games.
Despite being a small midfielder, he keeps the ball in play with his wiggly dribbling and physicality, and does decisive work around the penalty area.

However, it is unlikely that Liverpool will be interested in acquiring the player. Even if they do reinforce the midfielders, their priority is defensive midfielders, and they have the attacking pieces in place.
