After a disappointing time at Chelsea, he got his career back on track in Italy and stepped up to Liverpool in 2017. The Egyptian international made a second attempt at the Premier League and continued to score with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Even with two of the front three out, the 31-year-old winger is still a key part of the attacking lineup, and has scored 192 goals and 83 assists in 315 games for Anfield. He has also scored 51 goals in 88 games for the Egyptian national team and is a high scorer for both club and country.
He is an absolute force at Liverpool, and he is no different with the national team. The head coach of the national team, Rui Vitória, emphasized how important the player is for the Egyptian national team, listing the names of some of the stars of the game.
