With the acquisitions of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch, Liverpool has renewed its midfielders from last season.
The team has regained its lost momentum in the midfield and is battling for the top spot at the turn of the season.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Liverpool is looking to further strengthen its midfield and is eyeing Brazilian midfielder Ederson, who plays for Atalanta.
The club is also interested in Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, who is also a member of the club.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who joined Atalanta from Salernitana in the summer of 2022, has scored seven goals and assisted two in 64 games. He has been a mainstay this season, scoring six goals and assisting one in 27 games, including in the Europa League.
His aggressive style of play makes him highly mobile in the midfield. In defense, he has plenty of stamina to cover a wide range of areas, while in attack, he carries the ball himself and creates rhythm with accurate long and short passes.
Barcelona and Manchester United are also keen on the player, and the transfer fee would be 40 million euros, according to the Spanish source Sport.
