Mohamed Salah wants to play at the highest level in Europe...Journalist mentions contract renewal with Liverpool Transfers

Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian international who joined Liverpool from AS Roma, continues to impress at Anfield. The 31-year-old has continued to help his team not only in goals but also in assists, and he is still the ace in the hole.

Saudi Arabia is keen on acquiring Mohammed Salah. The Saudis are keen on acquiring the player, with verbal offers of large sums of money coming in last summer’s transfer window, and offers from the Middle East are expected to come in this summer.

Recently, as some began to argue that he might sign a new contract with Liverpool, reporter David Ornstein shared the current situation.

“Not aware of any decision on that yet. I’m sure Liverpool would like to extend Salah’s contract but, of course, that is his decision and if he doesn’t, then all involved will need to decide whether he goes into his final year or if a sale is best (depending on offers coming in),”

“The strength of interest from Saudi Arabia last summer suggests they will have another go in the next transfer window — but as I’ve said on here before, I have heard suggestions that Salah would be keen to keep playing at the highest level in Europe. On this one, we’ll need to be patient.”

Egyptian King, who will turn 32 this June, will be able to contribute to the team with his strong upper body as well as his chance-making ability, even if his speed has diminished.

Although a position change from the wing may be necessary, he should still be able to lead the attack.

His departure from the Egyptian national team will be decided this summer, but what kind of future awaits him…?
