Portugal defender Goncalo Inácio was offered to Liverpool...PSG is also trying to sign him Transfers

Liverpool set out to sign a left-handed center back during last summer’s transfer window, targeting England defender Levi Colwill, who was negotiating a contract extension with Chelsea. However, that dream was ended when the player signed a long-term contract with the London club.

However, he is not the only target. While Tosin Adarabioyo, Lloyd Kelly, and other Premier League center backs are being discussed in the media, Sporting defender Goncalo Inácio, also left-handed, has been a constant name since last summer.

According to Sports Zone, the Portuguese defender continues to make transfer offers to Liverpool, and the Merseyside club has been tracking his movements for over a year.

The 22-year-old center back, who signed a new contract in August 2023, is gaining a growing reputation in his home country.

He has already made 160 appearances for his club and has been on the pitch for six games for the Portuguese national team.

He is also an experienced player on the European stage, having started more than 10 matches in the Champions League and Europa League, respectively.

Paris Saint-Germain is also interested in the 22-year-old defender in case the club fails to bring in 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro, who is also being eyed by some of Europe’s top clubs.

So which club will win the contract of the Portuguese defender, who could be a popular issue this summer…?
