Barcelona and Luis Diaz are a good match...but it'll be difficult to lure him away from Liverpool Transfers

Colombian international Luis Diaz joined Liverpool after spells at Juniors FC and Porto. He fitted into the team immediately after joining, creating numerous chances from the left wing and has scored double-digit goals in all competitions this season.

The 27-year-old winger has been running around until the end of games and has played many games despite a string of injuries, but rumours of his departure from Liverpool have been rife recently. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are among the potential transfer targets, but new news has arrived from Spain.

According to Sport, Barcelona rate the Colombian forward highly and want to welcome him into their team, while the player also wants to play at the Camp Nou.

However, the Spanish club are also aware that it is hopeless to acquire him, and their ongoing financial struggles make it difficult for them to raise the transfer fee.

Although Xavi has praised his ability, he, like Jurgen Klopp, will leave the team at the end of the season. With no next manager in place, it seems unlikely that the club will be in a position to plan reinforcements for next season and beyond.

Liverpool, on the other hand, will also be replacing their manager, so there is no denying that they could be looking to revamp their forward line-up, including Mohamed Salah.

It is not inconceivable that they plan to sell the Colombian winger to secure a budget to build a new team.

At the moment, however, there is no reason to let go of the left winger, who is an absolute mainstay of the team, but what if…?
