Liverpool's big target revealed...Feyenoord manager Arne Slot emerges as the fastest-rising Team

With Jurgen Klopp stepping down, Liverpool sought a new manager to lead the team from next season.Interest in various young managers has been reported, but an agreement has been reached with Feyenoord manager Arne Slot, who suddenly emerged as the most promising.

The 45-year-old Dutchman will also carry a lot of pressure as he takes on the challenge of leading the club at Anfield, having won domestic league and cup titles with Feyenoord.

He will need to be mentally strong enough to cope with a burden unmatched by his previous teams.

Former Dutch international Johnny Rep, an alumnus of Slot’s clubs and former player for Saint Etienne and Ajax, is a great admirer of the manager’s abilities and says winning the Premier League in his first year in charge is not a pipe dream.

“Arne has what it takes to fill Klopp’s big boots and it’s possible he’ll win the Premier League in his first year,”

“Arne has done great things at Feyenoord, winning both the league and the cup, and I can’t wait to see him do the same in Liverpool.”

“He has all the credentials to manage a club as big as Liverpool because he’s simply an excellent coach.”

“Arne was influenced by Johan Cruyff’s Total Football and loves to set his teams up on the front foot.”

“But even though the offensive side of his game is the one that stands out, his teams are defensively adept, too.”
