Leeds United experienced relegation from the Premier League last season. They have moved to the Championship and one player who has shone there is Dutch U-21 international Crysencio Summerville. He has scored more than 20 goals and assisted more than 10 throughout the league and FA Cup.
He also has experience in the top flight, with four goals and two assists in 28 games in the Premier League last season. He has become one of the best wingers in England with his sharp dribbling from the left wing and high decision-making rate in front of goal.
Liverpool are interested in the player and are targeting him in the summer transfer window. But it’s not just the Reds. Chelsea, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are also keen, according to international media outlet TEAMtalk.
The report also says that Leeds could be willing to sell for around £35 million, making them the favourites this summer.
Liverpool, who have a world-class forward line-up including Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota, are expected to move to secure an attacking attacker in order to improve the generational change in the Egyptian winger and his scoring decline in the second half of the season.
The Dutch winger is one of the first candidates, but the priority seems to be the right winger, as the club already has someone who can play on the left wing. Ideally, the player should be left-handed and able to cut in from the right flank to score or assist.
